Terms of Use

1. About Aventacart

Aventacart is a curated UK-first marketplace operated by Aventa Technologies Ltd. We provide the platform that lets buyers discover trusted independent sellers and complete checkout online. Sellers are not automatically admitted; each seller must apply and be approved before selling.

These terms apply when you browse, buy, apply to sell, manage a storefront, upload product content, or otherwise use Aventacart. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.

2. Marketplace Roles

Aventacart operates the marketplace software, seller approval process, storefront tools, checkout integration, order records, support workflows and admin review tools.

Sellers are responsible for their business, product listings, prices, images, descriptions, stock, fulfilment, delivery, customer service, food safety obligations, licences, insurance, tax obligations, returns handling and legal compliance for the products they offer.

Buyers are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery and payment information and for using the platform lawfully.

3. Seller Applications and Approval

  • Sellers must apply before they can sell on Aventacart.
  • We may approve, reject, suspend or request more information at our discretion.
  • Approval does not mean Aventacart guarantees every product, claim, licence, food document or image supplied by a seller.
  • Sellers must keep business details, documents and product information accurate and up to date.

4. Product Listings, Images and Seller Content

Sellers must only upload content they own or are allowed to use, including product images, storefront images, descriptions, logos, documents and business information. Sellers are responsible for ensuring content is accurate, lawful, non-misleading and does not infringe another person's rights.

By uploading seller content, sellers give Aventacart permission to host, display, resize, reproduce and use that content as needed to operate and promote the marketplace, storefronts, products, orders and support workflows.

5. Food, Homemade Products and Regulated Goods

Aventacart may collect optional food registration references, local authority details, hygiene ratings and food safety documents during seller application or review. Sellers remain responsible for registration, hygiene, allergens, labelling, safe preparation, storage, delivery, recalls and all applicable rules for food or regulated products.

We may remove listings, suspend sellers or request further documents where safety, quality or compliance concerns arise.

6. Orders, Checkout and Payments

Aventacart does not provide a wallet and does not hold seller or buyer money in its own bank account as a stored balance. Payment processing, seller onboarding, verification, refunds, transfers and payouts are handled through payment providers such as Stripe Connect where available.

Orders may use delayed settlement or payment status fields so that admin and sellers can track payment, fulfilment, returns and refunds. These statuses are operational records and do not create a customer or seller wallet with Aventacart.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

UK buyers may have cancellation and return rights for many online purchases, including time-limited rights after receiving goods. Some goods may be excluded, such as personalised, perishable, hygiene-sealed or digital items. Sellers must state and honour applicable policies and legal obligations.

Aventacart provides return/cancellation request tools and may help manually resolve disputes for the MVP, but sellers remain responsible for fulfilment, return handling and lawful refunds for their products.

8. Prohibited Use

  • Do not use Aventacart for unlawful or misleading activity.
  • Do not upload unsafe, counterfeit or infringing goods.
  • Do not bypass approval, checkout, security or payment flows.
  • Do not scrape, spam, abuse, harass or attempt unauthorised access.
  • Do not upload personal data you are not permitted to share.

9. Account Suspension and Content Removal

We may reject applications, suspend sellers, hide products, disable storefronts, cancel platform access, preserve relevant records or remove content where we believe there is risk to buyers, sellers, Aventacart, payment providers, legal compliance, marketplace trust or platform security.
